Why Not Give the Gift of Value Summit Attendance?

By Michael Pearsall, P.Eng., CVS, CVM, FICE, FEC – Director of Conferences, SAVE International

This month as many of our minds turn to gift-giving and festive greetings, it is a good time to think about the gift of Value Summit attendance.

Obviously if you are looking to get something special for that Value Practitioner on your list, I’m sure they would greatly appreciate help in attending the 2019 Value Summit. Our registration site is not open yet, but I’m sure they would gladly take a promise in a nice card.

In all seriousness though, there is a new way in which you can all give the gift of Value Summit attendance. This year, we are introducing an opportunity for SAVE International chapters to sponsor one or more students to attend the 2019 Value Summit.

Interested chapters would be responsible for the travel expenses for the students, but the event registration for the selected students would be only $50. Please consider how your chapter could participate in this exciting opportunity! More information will be communicated to the chapters soon.

This is the gift of sharing your stories, successes and lessons learned with fresh young minds. The Value Summit also provides the gift of networking and knowledge transfer. What a great way to get a new generation of Value Practitioners going and also so rewarding to share this with others.

Lastly, it is never too early to jump in as a sponsor of the 2019 Value Summit. Sponsorship is very important; without it, we cannot have a quality event at a reasonable cost. Please start now considering sponsorship opportunities.

Your enthusiastic and dedicated 2019 Value Summit planning committee, with the help of the Cascadia Chapter, is off to a running start and we look forward to seeing you in Portland, Oregon June 8-11, 2019!
