Certification Forum: SAVE Certification Related Courses at the 2017 Value Summit

The following certification related pre-conference workshops will be held  during the upcoming 2017 Value Summit in Philadelphia:

 

VE Refresher, Revisions and Exam Preparation

Sunday, August 27 — 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Instructors: Stephen Kirk, CVS – Vice President Education, SAVE International Board of Directors; Stephen Garrett, CVS – Director, SAVE International Certification Board

This half-day workshop is intended to help certification candidates bridge the gap between the old Value Methodology (VM) Module I and II courses and the new VM Fundamentals I and II courses. The instructors will discuss the SAVE Certification Board changes to the Module I and II courses. The main focus will be on function analysis and other core competency elements of the new certification exam. For those that are seeking CVS certification, this is an important pre-conference workshop not to be missed.

 

Instructor Updates and Training

Sunday, August 27 — 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Instructors: Stephen Kirk, CVS – Vice President Education, SAVE International Board of Directors; Stephen Garrett, CVS – Director, SAVE International Certification Board

This half-day workshop will discuss SAVE Certification Board changes to the Module I and II courses. The new courses will be called Value Methodology Fundamentals I and II. Each will be a minimum of 32 hours. This pre-conference workshop will review the new course requirements, the agendas for each and new mandatory power point training slides to be used by all instructors. For those that offer SAVE certified Module I and II courses, attendance is required to obtain SAVE approval to teach these courses. If attendance is not possible, online review and testing of the instructors will be possible in the near future to achieve SAVE approval for teaching these courses.
