2017 Value Summit – Call for Papers Reminder

By George Obaranec, PE, CVS – Vice President Conferences, SAVE International

You still have plenty of time to submit a paper to the 2017 Value Summit, which will be held August 27-30, 2017 in downtown, historic Philadelphia!

The paper submission deadline is January 15, 2017. Click here to visit the submission website.

In preparing ideas for submission, keep in mind that we are open to alternate types of presentations. We are looking to develop an educational, innovative and informative agenda so you do not have to limit your submissions to only technical papers. A key consideration in thinking about and developing potential presentations is to incorporate more educational content in them.

We are striving to make the annual summit an opportunity to compile the required hours for certification needs. Our goal is to provide attendees the opportunity to meet the continuing education and professional development hour (PDH) requirements through summit sessions. We are looking for as many presentations as possible to be instructional, educational and practical in meeting one or more of the learning objectives associated with the core competencies.

If you decide to submit a paper or potential presentation with educational content, please also prepare and include 5-7 questions that can be used for PDH conformance and verification. The Presentation & Agenda Committee is looking to the SAVE membership and attendees for a robust pool of presentations. If selected, we could have some follow-up questions, requests and/or adjustments to the submitted material. Be aware of these considerations in preparing your submissions, find your muse and let the creative process inspire you to submit fabulous ideas.

We also are looking for pre-conference workshops and training session proposals. These are considered separately from the papers and the summit workshop sessions.

We are looking forward to your submissions and seeing you in Philadelphia!
