Keeping You Informed on the SAVE 2020 Value Summit

By Renee Hoekstra, CVS – President, SAVE International and Michael Pearsall, P.Eng., CVS, FEC – Vice President / President-Elect, SAVE International

We know you are currently inundated with emails, news reports and messages related to COVID-19. This is, no doubt, impacting you professionally and personally.

SAVE International prides itself on being a family of Value professionals who support each other during a time like this. I can assure you we are in this together, navigating our next steps day by day, making decisions that are in the best interest of our members and constituents. This pandemic has impacted us in every aspect of our lives – professionally, personally, financially and mentally. We empathize with you as all of us go through this together.

Presently, we are still planning the 2020 Value Summit, working with the Program Committee and our leadership to make the decisions that best fit the needs of our members. We understand travel bans and company limitations on travel are impacting decisions related to your participation in this year’s Summit. We are exploring all options, considering the latest news and information available to us, keeping the health, safety and well-being of our members and staff top of mind.

SAVE will keep everyone updated on decisions and news related to all aspects of the 2020 Value Summit. Communication is being distributed via email and social media as often as possible with members being the first to be notified of any noteworthy points.

Should you have questions at any time, please reach out to us at info@value-eng.org. The SAVE business office is closed, but the staff continues to work remotely to meet your needs, and messages are checked and answered throughout the day (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm ET).

On behalf of the SAVE Board of Directors and staff, we send wishes of good health and safety to you and your family.
