Big Ideas in the Big Easy: Let VM Show You How!

By Tammy Dow, CVS – Director of Conferences, SAVE International

The Call for Papers, Call for Interactive Continuing Education, and Call for Pre and Post Summit Workshops for the 2020 Value Summit have been issued. The deadline for submissions is December 14, 2019.

As per last year, we are requiring all presenters and instructors to clearly demonstrate how their paper or course ties into one of the Core Competencies. All papers and presentations will be reviewed by the Paper Review Committee. Changes may be requested. Earlier completions and submissions would be greatly appreciated. See the updated Submission Guidelines for more details.

The 2020 Value Summit Planning Committee has so much going on! We have provided so many opportunities to get your PDUs as well as gain additional training, and we’ve extended the Summit to 2.5 days. Start planning your travel NOW!

We are also introducing “Interactive Continuing Education” Sessions. The purpose of this is to provide our membership with hands on skills, training and additional experience in the Core Competencies. These sessions are to be 1-2 hours and will be part of the main Summit tracks. Earlier completions and submissions would be greatly appreciated.

We are also looking for workshop proposals. Please click here to submit a workshop proposal.

And don’t forget our Transportation Track! If you have an exciting program to share, contact Mark Gabel from the Washington Department of Transportation at gabelm@wsdot.wa.gov.

How can you not be excited about New Orleans? There are so many things to do, such as the French Quarter, Cemetery and Voodoo Tour, Ghosts and Vampires Walking Tour, Oak Alley Plantation Tour, Airboat Ride, Garden District and Cemetery Walking Tour, and History and Haunts Carriage Ride Night Tour…just to name a few.

SAVE International takes pride in recognizing the successful contributions of the value profession from industry, government and value analysis providers. Finally, it is never to early to apply to be a sponsor and/or exhibitor at the 2020 Value Summit. Without sponsors and exhibitors, we cannot provide a quality event at a reasonable cost to our members. More information about our 2020 Value Summit sponsorships and exhibitor opportunities can be found online at www.valuesummit2020.org/sponsorship.
